And really… what is the big deal?

Male anatomy in art has always been treated differently. Some eras have no qualms about showing the penis at full mast. Other times it was literally removed from older artworks because it was considered obscene. Even in today’s pop culture, everyone gets in a tizzy any time a man freely displays himself in film or TV show — and even then, it’s often covered or just a quick peek-a-boo.

And why? It’s as much a part of my anatomy as my middle finger. What is the big deal, really?
