“Leather & Skin”

“Whenever I think of Pride, it's the leather accessories mostly present in every Pride event around the world. The concept of Pride is fairly recent here in the Philippines, yet the local community is unaware of certain symbols worn by gay men exclusively. Leather makes a man more masculine, and gay men reclaim it to showcase their expression in their own true way.
In the piece, I drew my character Isaac wearing a blue harness in the nude. He's naked because he's at peace, especially when it's time for sex. Of course when there are guests around, he'll dress more modest but will still wear the harness from time to time. Leather simply makes a man hotter — bare or clothed.”
