“Growing up in a rural Southern USA area, surrounded by Christians, ‘It's Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve,’ was something I heard a lot as a child, and they were serious, despite their stupid little catchphrase.
This piece, to me, is a reclaiming of that. Here, it WAS Adam and Steve, and the forbidden fruit they tasted in the garden, surrounded by Nature's beauty, was each other.”
